Dean was still staring at her and she found herself looking back like a deer caught in headlights. She could see his head coming closer and closer and really wanted to move back but those green eyes held her captive. His mouth looked soft as he opened them slightly in anticipation. She could feel her breath hitching as her chest became tight and she seemed to have trouble breathing.
‘Adrenaline’ she thought hazily, ‘it’s only my body dumping too much adrenaline in my system. That’s why my knees feel weak and my head is woozy.’
His lips finally touched hers and everything went into overdrive at once.

“Well now you know,” she rasped and then moved off his lap to settle on her seat. Her whole body was on fire and it took everything she had not to sink herself back into him. He leaned his head back against the seat, breathing audibly; in and out. He sounded like he’d just ran a marathon.
“Now I know,” he echoed at last once he’d gotten his breath under control. He turned his head to look at her, a rueful expression lightening his eyes to emerald.
“And now what?” he asked her.

“That is absolutely up to you,” she said ruthlessly tamping down the impulse to reach up and trace the lines of his face.
“I guess…this means I’m on the first flight to Ibiza,” he said.
Meaghan worked on injecting nonchalance into her shrug. “If that’s what you want to do,” she said.
“I want you,” he said boldly. She looked away trying to school her expression. She turned back to him when she felt like she had it under control and nodded her head.
