If you’ve stumbled upon the term MMC when discussing a book, you may be wondering what it means.
Quite simply, MMC stands for Male Main Character. It refers to the male lead in the story.
This is important as the main male usually has a lot more time in the book than other men, and sometimes there can even be two or more male main characters. For example, in a man-loves-man romance.
Similarly, sometimes people use the related term FMC. I bet you can guess what that means. 😉
