His Perfect, Fuller Figure Surrogate

“I’m extremely excited to start the process,” Andre said as he looked at Sophie. She felt her nerves pick up again as she saw the longing in his eyes. She could tell that he really wanted a child.

“Usually we would have a few candidates but because Andre has chosen you specifically, we’d like to get started on all the tests. We want to make sure everything is in order before we do the extractions and implantation. Also, there are a few things Andre would like to discuss with you with regards to how he’d like things to work,” Susan said.

“Of course,” Sophie replied as she turned to Andre.

She looked at his black hair and dark eyes and couldn’t believe a man like him had chosen her. Her darker complexion would obviously overpower his. Her eyes were brown, a lighter shade compared to his and her skin was darker considering she was African American. Of course, he knew what she looked like beforehand because a photo was attached to her profile. It seemed like he wanted her specifically for her darker skin because he looked at her with eyes filled with admiration.

“Well, firstly I’d like to thank you for coming today, especially since this meeting was made so quickly. Secondly, I have a few things that would be my terms and conditions. If you object to anything please let me know, however, I am rather determined to have everything go the way I want it to go,” Andre said.

Sophie nodded her head and watched as he shuffled the pile of papers in front of them, she could see that it was the contract she would have to sign.

“As you are aware, I need a surrogate that carries the child and also provides an egg and because of that I would under most circumstances be excluded after the fertilization. However, I want to be a part of everything which is why I would like you to move in once it’s confirmed you are pregnant. I know it sounds extremely weird but because I’m not doing this in the most normal way, I don’t want to feel like I’m missing anything,” Andre said.

“So, you’d want me to live with you?” Sophie asked. She couldn’t believe that he was suggesting she move in with him, they had just met.

“I know it sounds weird but yes, I want you to live with me. You will have your own side of the house so you wouldn’t have to worry about seeing me all the time, but it would make things easier for when you feel the baby move for the first time for instance,” he said.

Sophie could understand where he was coming from even if it sounded completely bizarre.

“Alright, I suppose I would be fine with that,” she said.

Andre beamed at her, she smiled back.

“That’s great! All costs will be covered by me so you’ll receive a credit card that you can use for your own personal shopping and groceries, obviously, you will be getting paid still so try not to take advantage of it,” he said with a smile.

“Of course, but what about my rent? If I’m living with you for 9 months, I don’t want to give up my house but it’s not logical to continue paying for it if I’m not there,” she said.

“I’ll cover your rent while you stay with me,” he replied.

Sophie knew right then that Andre had to be extremely rich, it seemed as if he didn’t have any limits on how much he would be willing to spend.

“Wow, okay,” Sophie replied.

“I know what I want, and I will do everything to get it. Now is there anything you’d like to add before we go forward?” Andre said.

“No, I think I’m good,” she replied.

“Great, well, Susan we can begin then,” he said as he pushed the papers toward Sophie. She got a pen out of her bag and signed it after reading it through herself. Everything seemed fair to her and she was willing to go forward.

“Perfect, Sophie you can come with me then,” Susan said as she stood up.

Sophie followed Susan as she led her out the doors and down the corridor once more, this time taking her the other way. Sophie spent a good few hours having her blood drawn and tested followed by an ultrasound and a pap smear to make sure everything was in order. She was pleased when the results came back negative for anything that could be wrong with her.

“Okay, so now this is where we start the process properly. Andre is down the hall doing his part which means we need to withdraw a few eggs from you so we can start,” Susan said.

“Alright,” Sophie replied.

Susan took her to a room and made her change before asking her to lay down on the bed. Sophie did as she was told and waited on her own before she was joined by a doctor who proceeded to explain everything to her before they started.

It wasn’t long before Sophie was fully dressed and back in the office with Andre and Susan.

“So, the biggest part is over, now we just have to wait a few days for the magic to happen. It seems that you are in the perfect stage for the insemination, so we don’t have to wait too long. We will need you to come back in a few days so we can do the insemination. Everything seems to be lining up with this match,” Susan said, “I will leave you two to talk so you can decide what to do from here.”

Susan left them alone and neither of them spoke for a while.

“So, I think you should pick up a few of your things and move in today. I personally think it would be easier to start it all now while things are still in the early stages that way it’ll be less awkward later,” Andre said.

“Yes, of course. I agree,” Sophie said.

“Perfect. This is my number and my address so just give me a call when you’re on your way,” he said as he handed her a piece of paper.

“Awesome, I’ll see you later, roomie,” Sophie said with a smile as she tried to make things more comfortable for both of them.

“See you later,” Andre replied with a laugh.

They both got up and left, giving each other one quick handshake before separating.

“We’ll give you a call when we’ll need you to come in,” Susan said when Sophie passed her on the way out.
