I looked up, and instead of seeing Raphael looking at us like he did before, he had a giant gun in his hands. It looked like a rocket launcher, and when I saw that I looked over at Donte with a pained expression on my face. This might not be good.
“Sh*t. If you get hit with one of those things, you’re going to die instantly!” Donte said.
It was a huge bullet cannon. It would be so hard to avoid, but then again it was one of those things that I would just have to deal with. I was going to fight this man, and take his fake ass down.
I looked at Donte, but before we could form a plan Raphael fired his first bullet. I dodged it, and so did Donte. But the bullet divided us. When it hit the ground, it made such an impact that I almost lost my balance when I felt it hit the ground and shake it. I was nervous, but it was going to happen eventually. He had a giant gun, and with that gun came a whole lot of power attached to it.
I looked at Donte, and he was shocked like I was. It was definitely a striking thing to see, and when I looked at it I wondered if I would be able to survive. Donte was in the same boat that I was, for he was also trapped as well. We looked at the machine in front of us, and we knew that we had to stay safe. It was ready to take us down, and it wasn’t going to be pretty if it did.
The cannon blasted once again, this time going for Donte. He jumped out of the way. I grew scared, but he smiled at me.
“Don’t worry about me babe! Just attack the bas*ard!” he said.
I nodded, agreeing with this. I needed to take him down, I just had to. No matter what it took, it was time to get real. I wasn’t going to let this man hurt Donte or me, and I wasn’t going to let him touch the rest of the vampires out there. They were being led by this jackass, and it was my place to kill him. Donte started to move once again, and while he did I readied the next bullet.
I shot the second bullet, hitting the armor. It was no use. I continued to shoot, getting closer and closer. I managed to get him in one arm, causing a roar of pain to escape him. That wasn’t going to stop him though and after a moment, I realized that wasn’t going to be the right thing to do to get out of this.
“Sh*t,” I said as I tried to fire another bullet and then realizing that I didn’t have any left. This su*ked, and I didn’t know how to get out of this. Donte noticed the issue, and immediately he came over. We were back together, and at this present moment Raphael was reloading his launcher.
“I can’t hit him with any more bullets. I don’t have anything else!” I said.
“Sh*t. I have the knife, but I was thinking of trying to get in there. I’m a bit more agile than you are. Of course, I don’t know if I will be able to get in if there is an opening. I need someone smaller than me to do it in order to make sure it does happen.
I thought about it, and I knew there was only one thing to do. I had to take him down, I just had to. I looked at Donte with a serious expression on my face.
“I’ll beat him,” I said.
“All right. Here’s the knife. I’ll distract him,” he said.
I nodded in agreement as I watched Donte scurry away. It was time for me to face this monster. Raphael looked at me, firing his cannon directly at me. I dodge and rolled out of the way, amazed at the strength I had. This was better than any power I had before. I felt complete, and I felt like I could use this power for good. Donte was now getting Raphael’s attention, and I used that moment to my advantage. I jumped out of the way, lunging over to where Raphael was. I pushed my legs forward, getting ready to kick him. He placed the gun in my way, allowing me to kick it out of his grasp instead. He fumbled for it, and I knew it was my chance. I kicked him once again in the stomach, finally knocking him over. He tried to fight back, but I could tell he was too tired. He was holding the gun for a long time, and it was heavy. He tried to punch me, but I dodged it before he could make impact. I pinned myself onto him, pushing the knife into his head.

“This is for everything that you did to Donte you bas*ard!” I screamed. I saw the blood pouring out of his head. I could hear the screams of pain emitting from his mouth. I stabbed him once again, and then I hit him in the heart, causing the man to die almost instantly. I went over to Ryan, doing the same thing to make sure that he was completely dead. I wasn’t going to be playing games anymore. That wasn’t my style. I was done with that, and Donte was done with it as well.
I moved away from them, feeling a bit sad with myself. I can’t believe I did such a thing, but I did what I had to do. They were gone, and when I finished, Donte came over to me. He put his hands around me and held me there. Within moments, I was sobbing. Hell, I didn’t even know why I was sobbing at this point. I was just sad, and I hated myself for what just happened. I never thought I would kill another person, but I needed to. They weren’t humans, they were vampires. And these fu*kers were more than ready to kill me at any time. I didn’t like to think about the fact that things went this way, but as I felt Donte hold me there in his arms, I realized I did do the right thing. I was happy about that, and it was one of the best things I could do. I hated to admit it, but I felt like I did the right thing. Plus, I was able to save the world.
I didn’t realize how far the extent of my actions was going to take me, but I guess I would learn about it later on. Right now, I just wanted to be with the one that I loved.
“You did it Alice. You saved everyone,”” he said.
I did. I really did. I was able to live with myself, and I did do the right thing. It was hard, but the pain and suffering that I felt before was finally over.
