He turned my head back, looking at me with a smile on his face.   “That we are,” he replied.

He pressed my lips to mine, and soon I melted into the kiss.

BANG!

I heard the slam of something against the car.  It was getting closer, and I knew that it was definitely not good.  It was something bad, and I could tell that we were in for a hell of a party.

The person did it again, and soon we saw who it was.  It was one of the goons that Raphael had, the one that Donte stabbed in the eye.  It was funny to look at him now, but I knew that he was definitely bent on taking the two of us out.  It was scary to think about, but he meant business.  He was serious, and just thinking about that made me shiver.

“Fu*k! What do we do?” I asked.

“I don’t know.  He’s getting closer though, and the fact that he’s banging the car makes me worried,” Donte replied.

I turned back, trying to figure out who the hell it was.  When I looked at the man’s face again I realized something.  It was the one person that I thought I would never see again, the one person I didn’t want to see again.

It was Ryan.

But the bigger question was; why the fu*k was Ryan with Raphael?  Why was he like this?  Why was he doing this, and why did he think this was a bright move?  Why did he get turned, and what did this mean for us?  All of these questions flooded my head, but I knew there was one thing I had to do first before I would even venture to get any answers at this point.  That was to get out of here before it was too late!

I looked at Donte with fright on my face.  I got off of him, and I could tell this was immediately a boner killer.  I think Ryan was throwing rocks at the car, but I wasn’t able to tell.  All I know is that it wasn’t something good.  We had to get out of there before it was too late!

“Let’s get this car moving Donte!  We have to get away!” I screamed.

“I’m trying!” he said.  He didn’t even bother trying to put the seat back.  He was on the edge, and he put the keys in the car.  When he turned it, we heard a pop in the engine area.  I looked at him, and he looked at me with the same look of pure terror.

“Sh*t.  He blew out the engine.  The car isn’t starting!” he said.

‘What the hell?” I replied.

“We need to think of something fast!  I don’t know if we can use the car to get out of here anymore,” he replied.

I fished through the different things in the glove compartment, finding a small knife.  I gave it to Donte, and he smiled.

“Silver…excellent,” he said.

“Yeah.  It’ll work for now.  We just need to find a way out of here fast!” I said.

“Go right when we get out.  We’ll run until we come to a dead end,” he said.

“Then what?” I asked.

“I have no fu*king clue, but it’s the best plan we have,” he replied.

I was nervous about trusting a harebrained scheme like that, but it was the only thing we could do.  I just had to trust Donte, and I knew deep down he did have the best ideas possible.  I wanted to believe him, and he was trying to make things better for us.  The question was, would this work?

He opened the door, grabbing the knife and lunging towards the right.  I got out of the passenger’s side, holding the gun in my hands.  I only had four bullets, and I didn’t want to have to waste them on this little maggot.  At least, not until I had to.  I made a beeline for the forest, running to catch up with Donte.  I could hear the roar from Ryan as he moved towards us, and at that point I knew that he was going to put up a fight.

It was a long chase.  Both of us were nervous about this whole thing.  I was scared to imagine what we were going to do next, but it was something that wasn’t going to work for us.  We kept on running, and I could hear the cackling from Ryan as he continued to follow us.  I ran hard, my face red and scared.  I was breathing hard, and I knew that it was only a matter of time before we would come to the end.

We finally did, and when I saw it I got scared.  I looked over, and Ryan was in front of us.  He had a stake in his hand, and a grin plastered on his face.
