“No, it’s not that. It’s just that that was not something I wanted to talk about…I don’t want you to think any less of me.”

Justin held the side of her cheek and shook his head.

“I would never think any less of you if you were accused of blowing up Grand Central.”

Eliza laughed.

“Are you lifting phrases out of Quantico right now?” she asked and he nodded.

“That is a kick ass show.”

She nodded. “It is,” she said.

Justin gently caressed her cheek as he looked into her brown eyes.

“That man’s worst mistake was my best blessing because I got you,” he said and a smile slowly played on her lips. That was probably the nicest thing anyone had ever said to her. Her heart was beating hard as he looked at her. She had only been with him a short time but she had come to know his tells just before he made a move on her.

And he did.

He leaned in to kiss her and she gently exhaled into his mouth. But it was not the short soft kiss she expected.
