Trish marveled over how she woke up in bed with Harvey. Harvey was warm and strong next to her. She’d made him breakfast which he had enjoyed and he had taken her home after they made love earlier. There was no walk of shame like she felt whenever she stayed over at Chris’ place.

The day didn’t end there he gave her a few minutes to get ready then he took her shopping for both things for her and the baby. Neither of them wanted to know the sex of the baby beforehand so they bought unisex toys and clothes. He lavished gifts on her without asking, often she would get home from work to find the place scented with the sweet smell of roses. Or a chocolate covered fruit basket just to brighten her day. She missed him whenever he had to fly out but they kept contact on Skype, talking about the things he would do to her when he got back home.

He knew how much she loved coffee and would take her to different café’s where they had café au lait and beignets, her favorite treats with an occasional frosted macaroon. Then they would somehow end up naked and entangled in his huge four poster bed. They were both in love and everyone who knew them well felt it and saw it.

The feelings were wonderful and marvelous, nothing could keep them apart and no one could ruin their day. Finally she had found contentment with her life. With Harvey everything was about balance and mutual satisfaction. Her future never looked so good before. What loomed on the horizon was the promise of security, good s*x and intelligent conversations.

Trish couldn’t help but feel that it was all too perfect, nobody ever has life this easy and she dreaded the day that it would all come crashing down. The fact that Chris wouldn’t leave her alone made her feel very uncomfortable but she felt there wasn’t anything she could do about the situation but trust Harvey to deal with it when the time came.

Dating Harvey was thrilling with fun times ahead. He had taken on most of her responsibilities, so she had ample time to relax and prepare for her impended birth. He always took her mind off her worries by letting her take her place by his side with his lavish lifestyle.

Late nights when he wasn’t at work he took her to elegant sensual parties where even though she couldn’t drink because she was pregnant, she still felt intoxicated being in Harvey’s presence by time the evening was over. Her sexual voracity would match his own and they would always ultimately end up in bed together.

Even at work Harvey affected her life. The women were instinctively jealous of her happiness and the way her circumstances had changed. She began to dress in more conservative name brands that made her look fabulous and give her a regal posh look. Whenever people hinted at her relationship with Harvey she ignored them or changed the conversation. She wasn’t about to let those nosy people up in her business. Already rumors were rampant and there was nothing to do to stop the circulation of news, her only defense was to ignore and plead no comment.

Bianca made her hatred of Trish known to all. Envious of the way that Trish could walk into a room and turn every man’s eye. Miranda had chosen her to be her protégé and she didn’t like that Trish had outshone her, letting her lose ground in front of her clique. She grew angrier every time she heard Trish’s name come up in office gossip.

No matter how she baited Trish and called her all sorts of names such as bi*ch and wh*re to her face, Trish maintained her dignity by ignoring her or making her out to look like a fool by calling her antics childish and immature.

One day she deliberately spilled a drink all over Trish’s outfit but unfortunately Indira had seen her. Indira made them switch outfits and Bianca ended up being removed and photo shopped from all the pictures.

This put a dent in her income and got her taken off the Livingstone campaign permanently. Bianca became the agency’s laughing stock for weeks to come. She implored Miranda to do something or she would have her father, who was a major shareholder in the company, sell his stock to everyone but Miranda and then see who would have the last laugh.

Miranda didn’t like that Trish had won Harvey, she ruined her love life and now she was damaging her business. She plotted to ruin Trish so that she could laugh when everything came tumbling down around her. She didn’t want any lawsuits so she would have to make sure that every stunt she contrived against Trish was legal and above reproach.

Miranda had lost one of her top male models as well, Dirk had submitted his resignation and fled the country. Last she heard about him, he was overseas taking up a career in the gay porno industry and had already garnered a large following.

She had Dirk in her bed a couple times and had never had any inkling that he was living a double life but to each his own. She had to throw him out of her bed when he kept getting kinkier wanting to tie her up and whip her. Miranda never relinquished control in her work space so why would she do that in the bedroom. He must have been insane to think she would get down like that, quite frankly she was glad to have him gone so she wouldn’t have to worry about tying up that loose end.

Often she plotted Trish’s death in her head, but she pushed those murderous thoughts aside when the rumor that Trish was pregnant finally reached her ears. Things were starting to look up. She could use that to her advantage, it would be grounds for dismissal should Trish prove to be uncooperative. She would just send the sh*ttiest jobs her way and put a strain on her financially. She would make things unbearable by sending Indira out on odd jobs so that Trish no longer had a support system. She advised Bianca and her clique to increase their heckling and crass comments in Trish direction, no one would see that as odd but it was all part of the conspiracy to destroy Trish’s reputation.

The more they tried to discredit Trish in Harvey’s eyes is the more he clung to her. Miranda was pretty sure Harvey was the reason why business was booming for Crimson Elite and these high caliber clients were showing up in droves all wanting to book Trish. Some would stick around but others would leave disappointed or state they were willing to wait until Trish became available and no one else would suffice.

No matter how she showcased Bianca and her cronies in the best light, they didn’t want them they just wanted Trish. She even had to spend money beefing up security as journalists would demand interviews, while the paparazzi would just sneak in to get exclusive pictures of the couple the world was now enraptured with.
