Chapter 7
Frida knew that her body had taken her to a whole new world of ecstasy and she definitely had Terrence to thank for that. Her whole self felt relaxed and comfortable as she subconsciously snuggled closer to Terrence in her sleep. It was absolute pure bliss being next to him.
When she awoke the next morning, unlike the one before, Frida knew exactly why she was in such a good mood. She stretched her body out a little, soaking up the feeling of satisfaction as it ran through her body. She felt more alive, more awake than she ever had before, and she loved it. Her whole body sang with joy.
Terrence and she had had one of the most perfect dates in her life the previous evening. A whole evening of talking, basking in their electric atmosphere, and dining over one of the best meals she’d ever made.
There was something between them that made her feel like nothing else in the world, she felt as if she could do anything. He seemed to accept her for who she truly was, all of her, and he enjoyed it too. He didn’t shy away from her or make her feel as if she needed to change who she was to be around him, he took all of her for exactly who she was, it meant something to her and as they had spoken the sparks between them felt stronger.

She took it as it came, never expecting anything else but now that Terrence had opened new doors for her she thought she’d never accepted anything mediocre ever again.
Frida checked the time on the clock by her bed and was pleased to see that at least she wasn’t late for work this time, as it was scarcely seven in the morning. She didn’t technically need to be in until about ten, and even then, most of the running of the restaurant was down to Andrew as her second in command.
She thought that having a few extra hours could work in her favor, she could spend more time with Terrence and not have to rush off anywhere. It brought her a sense of pleasure, thinking that she could be with him for a bit longer before they would have to go their separate ways for the day. Being around him borough out a new side of her that she really liked.
Beside her, Frida felt Terrence stir from his slumber. She had noticed his breathing as she had laid there, it had been soft and low while sometimes it sounded as if he was gargling water at the back of his throat, softly snoring in his sleep. The heat from his body was amazing against hers, she thought that she could get used to sharing a bed with him. She couldn’t see his face, and so she wasn’t 100% sure if he was awake or not until his voice broke the silence in her bedroom.
“Hey, you,” he said, somewhat playfully, prodding her. His touch set her on fire, warming her from the outside in. It was a new experience, something so completely different that she knew it had to mean something and surely she couldn’t be the only one who felt it? Could he feel the electricity between them, it couldn’t possibly be one-sided, especially with the way he looked at her. His eyes zoned in on her as he took her in, he looked hot and sleepy which to her was an image she would never forget.
“Hey,” she replied, her face cracking into a smile. It was hard not to smile when he looked at her, she felt as if he was looking at a prize he had won, and it was hard to imagine that she was that prize. He made her feel amazing as he continued to stare into her eyes.
“How long have you been awake?” he asked as he brought his hands to his face so he could rub his eyes with the backs of his hands.
“Not long,” Frida said truthfully. “Luckily I’m not late for work this time.”
“And you think you’d be tired after last night,” Terrence chortled.
“I know, right?” Frida laughed. “I suppose not, at the end of the day. Want some breakfast?”

“Sure, I wouldn’t mind,” Terrence accepted the offer gratefully. “What’s cooking, chef?”
“Normally I wake up at a quarter past nine, and I only have time for a croissant on my way out of the door,” Frida admitted. “But today, we’re up early. So I’ve got time to make something proper. What do you say to Eggs Benedict?”
Terrence grinned. “I say hell yeah!”
It brought her joy seeing the look of excitement on his face making the effort of getting out of bed that much easier. Her stomach growled slightly as she noted that she was starving, the activities from the night before clearly catching up to her.
Frida swung her legs out of bed and stood up. She’d woken up in the middle of the night, taken a shower, and changed into a pair of shorts and an oversized t-shirt. Mostly to wash the stench of debauchery from herself. Frida felt as though she was being a little bit extreme with herself, although she couldn’t deny that last night, she’d gone places that she’d never imagined that she would be going before. It was almost enough to make her blush at the thought of what they had gotten up to that night, she felt as if she was a completely new person because of it.
