Finally, she was able to move the zipper up and down freely again. With a devilish smile and a definite plan of attack, she pulled the zipper down and slipped the wet suit off again. She just happened to be wearing a silk teddy underneath because she hadn’t been expecting Mark to find out she hadn’t bothered to dress before showing up. Now, she was rather pleased with the result.

Of course she was really just on some patch of grass getting covered in sweat and debris, but hey, why mess with the fantasy? It worked for her. Mark cast her an inquisitive glance when she giggled slightly over that thought.
“Oh, it’s nothing,” she said. “I just love the sound of your voice.”
“I didn’t say anything,” he told her.
“I don’t remember mentioning anything about your vocabulary being involved,” she grinned, giggling again.
“Oh, I see, so I could just as easily be grunting like a caveman, huh?”
“Something like that,” she chuckled.
“Well, now that your wound’s uncovered, it doesn’t look all that bad,” he said. “But I still think we should give it a day just to be safe.”
“Oh yeah, totally,” she agreed.
“Wow, you’re so agreeable,” he smirked speculatively. “I bet I could get you to agree to just about anything right now.”
“Like what?” she sighed, lying back in the grass and closing her eyes.
“Spend eternity with me?”
“Of course,” she said, as if he should already have gotten that memo.
