There were two girls in his room, one tugging at the towel around his waist and the other one undressing as she giggled.

“What’s the point of the damned security if anyone can come up to my room when they want to?” he wondered as he looked at the two girls. “Get dressed and get the fuck out,” he said angrily.
“What the fuck dude. Are you gay or something?” One of the girls asked loudly. Cody shook his head and grabbed their clothes before flinging them at the two girls.
“Just get!” he yelled. The two girls scurried out of there almost too fast, leaving Cody breathing hard and fast. As he sat down on his bed, he suddenly hated himself. “This has to stop tonight, Lilies. I just can’t pretend not to love you in public anymore,” he thought as he ran his hand through his damp hair.
He knew all too well what the media would do if and when they got wind of such a scandal. He would be ruined. His career would be over. He would have to forget what he and Lilies had because there was no way she could ever love him if she ever found out . . . He took a long deep breath and shook his head. He got dressed and went off in search of Gordon whom he found at the bar. On his way there, he saw the two girls, and he knew that they had probably talked to a few people by then.

“I’m going to come clean, Gordon. I have to let the world know about Lilies,” he said to Gordon’s surprise.
“Son, are you sure about this?”
“If my fans are loyal to me . . . they’ll understand, but I cannot lose Lilies,” Cody said looking at Gordon who had come to realize that he could never really change Cody’s mind once it was made up. That night when he retired to Lilies’ room, he told her everything, and even she was supportive of him.
Early the next morning, Cody called for a press conference in the main auditorium of the hotel. As soon as the media got wind of it, they streamed into the hall with all manner of equipment. As Cody looked down at them from the podium, they looked like hungry cats ready to devour whatever scraps of information he was willing to throw at them. He looked over to the agents from Outspace Records only to be met by disdainful glares. On his left stood the manager and his lovely wife who as if on cue walked over to him. Cody looked into his wife’s soft brown eyes and smiled. And just like that he knew that he was making the right decision.
The end.
