As she lay there in Ken’s arms, she felt safe. She felt protected. And that turned her on.
She kissed Ken on the lips. It was so hot to kiss him while he was asleep, while he had no idea what was going on. It was a moment of power for her, and she couldn’t wait for Ken to strip this power away from her when he awoke.

Freema did not quite know what to do with this new relationship she was in. She had really been content in her single life, or at least as content as one could be when one’s only enjoyment comes from the pursuit of something as dangerous and destructive as illegal gambling. She had had a plan, she had wanted to go through with that plan. She had thought that she would be saving up for a trip abroad, a trip that she was never going to come back from. She had not expected to meet Ken, she had not expected to feel so strongly about him. She had not expected to have s*x with him, and she had certainly not expected him to ask her if she wanted a relationship with him. She had assumed that he would want to be on his own for a while as well, since his previous relationship had ended so badly.
She wondered if she had made a mistake by saying yes to Ken. She had felt like it would have been right for her to take some time to think about what it was that she really wanted. After all, if she was going to be in a relationship with somebody that she liked as much as Ken it was inevitably going to be a rather serious affair. It would not be some kind of fling, some serious emotions would inevitably come into play and such a relationship is not something that should be taken lightly.
She had severe commitment issues after her previous relationship. It had not ended well, and it had left a mark on her. Now, however, she had a man that she might just be happy with. She had the potential to make it, in a way, to be the person that she had always wanted to be. But, at the same time, she did not trust herself when it came to men. She had a tendency to only see the things that she truly wanted to see, she never had the ability to see a man for what he truly was. This was why she was starting to feel so insecure. She was starting to feel like the feelings that she and Ken had for each other might fade. She was starting to think that perhaps she and Ken would not be able to live the life that they wanted to live.
