“I missed you, too, sis. When Thomas called me to come I jumped from happiness. I told him ‘my little sister is getting married how I can not be there.’ He even arranged for his men to pick me up and bring me here. You’ve chosen well, I tell you that,” Amy whispered jokingly in Bella’s ear and the both of them laughed.

“Ladies!” Thomas joined them, hugging Bella around the waist. “I knew you’ll be delighted, dear!”

“Thank you! I…” Bella kissed him on the cheek.

“Hey, hey! We’re here!” Thomas’ friend teased them coming closer.

“This is John, everyone! My buddy from college and our best man.” Thomas introduced him and they all shook hands. John seemed like a nice guy. No wonder Thomas had chosen him for the wedding.

“I’ll call the marriage officiant and we can begin! I think we greeted all the guests, dear!” Thomas spoke and the four of them laughed even more.

As quick as the wind, Amy helped Bella fix her make-up, and in no time all of them were seated around the table with a huge book before them. The mellifluous voice of the officiant was pleasant in the silence of the place, making Bella grateful and happy that the wedding turned out better than she had imagined. After all, she had the people that meant to her most by her side. What else could she possibly wish for?

Her eyes darted to the man sitting next to her. He was gracefully holding his back straight, his dark skin shining in the sun, and the tuxedo pronouncing his gorgeousness. He looked as joyful as her, his eyes glistening after hearing the officiant’s every word. Who would think that he would grow to love her so much? Destiny was truly a miraculous little thing.

“We’re gathered here today to crown the love of these two people. After we’ve checked that there are no legal boundaries for them to enter their marriage, I’ll ask the witnesses…” The marriage officiant turned to Amy and John, who wore their smiling expressions during the whole ceremony. “Is anyone against this marriage?”

“No.”

“No.”

They shook their heads and the officiant went on, this time shifting his eyes to Bella and Thomas. “Do you, Bella Drew, take Thomas Graves to be your lawfully wedded husband for better or for worse, in sickness and in health, for richer or for poorer until death do you part?”

Bella threw Thomas a look hoping that he saw all the love and affection she held for him there. “I do!” she said confidently, hearing John and Amy clapping. Thomas just squeezed her hand and smiled.

“Now, do you, Thomas Graves, take Bella Drew to be your lawfully wedded wife for better or for worse, in sickness and in health, for richer or for poorer until death do you part?” The officiant asked and for a second only the wind was heard around the place.

“I do,” Thomas exclaimed loudly and Amy and John cheered even louder, making the officiant chuckle.

“Then with all the power entitled to me, I pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride, Mr. Graves!” the man said clapping himself. What an unforgettable wedding.

However, everything ceased to exist when Bella rose on her feet, facing the man she vowed to spend her whole life with. His mouth was curved in a smile and his eyes were gently observing every part of her face. She was his now and he was hers. He slowly leaned closer to her until she could feel his eyelashes against her soft dark skin and their lips met.
