“That is all I wanted to hear!” He smiled gripping her hands. “My sweet Raina! I love you more than my life! I would do anything for you! Please don’t think otherwise. Never. That woman…”

“That is the problem, Dean. Our love hurts people. It hurts us and puts you in a hard condition. You have to do stuff… You…” She spoke, as he gently covered her lips with his index finger.

“I will take care of everything. I promise, honey. I will find a way to end everything and create a clear path for the two of us and our love. Just give me a little time…” Dean pulled her against him and she wrapped her arms tightly around him. He always knew the right things to say.

“I only want one thing from you. Will you do that for me?” He added above her head.

“Depends on what it is.” Raina wiped a tear from his shirt.

“Run away with me! Let me take you somewhere unforgettable. Just you and me. Without anyone bothering us and without having to hide from the world,” he said and kissed the top of her head.

“Where?”

“No questions. Yes or no?” He told her as they slowly separated from one another.

Raina doubtfully looked at his excited face. Her heart and mind were leading a bloody battle inside her body. The reason told her to stay and the heart to grab that man’s hand and follow him wherever he took her. The later one prevailed and she kissed him on the lips showing her answer in the gesture.

A cough brought them back to reality. Veronica was standing behind them with an apron and soap on her hands. She was smiling.

“I am going on a holiday, V. Tell everyone not to call me!” Raina told her as she and Dean joined the laugh.

Dean had brought her to the bay. Hand in hand they had taken a walk near the water exchanging warm touches and hugs when suddenly they had stopped before the place where all boats and yachts had been anchored.

“You didn’t think that we only came for a walk, did you?” He had smiled, giving her his hand to help her climb the wooden dock. He had led her to a huge white yacht on the left and after untying the rope keeping it still, they had hopped on it.

Unbelievably, Raina had looked at all sides while they had slowly left the ground behind them and were now sailing in full speed somewhere on the ocean waters. He had never told her that he owned a yacht among other things.

As she was standing on the deck admiring the stillness of the water, she felt Dean’s firm body behind her. He dawned a blanket around her shoulders. “The nights are cold.”

“It’s wonderful, love. Thank you. I needed this so much.” She replied cuddling against him.

They stood like that for a few moments, letting the cold air engulf them and the freshness wash away their troubles when Dean gently kissed her neck making her turn back to face him.

They were one. One body with two souls and no one could take that away from them.

She didn’t know how, but Raina had floated away, succumbing herself to the sweet dream. She had dreamt of nothingness, her mind and body completely resting and relaxing. She was unaware of the hours that had passed, but once she opened her eyes again, the place next to her was empty.
