I almost missed my flight because I got so engrossed in reading these comments. lol.

FU_LO4Life:

Just because she was a former model she was able to get celebrity clients, everyone should wise up to this used up ho, who hasn’t won any tennis matches in a while, why doesn’t she give up coaching?

BadKitty69er:

I think Lorraine Whistle is just another social climber leeching off Rosie Pilsner.

LetMeFIXu09:

Love this app! Useful and always current.

PwettyGirlKiz:

Lo is so gorgeous, when I’m old I hope I look that good.

FU_LO4Life:

Players like Whittle give women in tennis a bad name, all she cares about is the money from endorsements and the fame not the love of the sport. Our females in this industry work too hard for Whittle to makes us look bad. We should all unite and stop using her app and starve that ho bag to death.

ShaloMedz123:

Who goes out and steal their friend’s man for a living people need to wise up to this floozy.

$$TheTruthIsOut$$:

It’s just another day when a women only gets noticed for her body not how well she can play.

LuvYa@Lo101:

It’s great Lo can continue to be so classy in the face of all this bs I know I couldn’t.

FU_LO4Life:

She was teen phenomenon that sucked off all the male models and agents to get her career.

BadKitty69er:

How did Lorraine Whittle become a top coach and she has never won a grand slam?

ShawtyBlu:

I’m extremely disappointed with these sexist comments, you people need to get a life. Coach Whittle is living hers, leave the woman alone please.”

‘Lo’s Tennis Training Club’ had recently been ranked one of the top twenty best fitness apps in the country that specialized in tennis. All of Lorraine’s hard work had finally paid off and she looked forward to reaping the fruits of her hard labor. It was the kids that gave Lo the brilliant idea of doing her own tennis app. It was a good way of marketing her business while offering tips and advice to those interested in improving their tennis skills. Her clients loved it and were enthralled as it catered to a wide age group as long as you could read and you loved tennis then that was the sports app for you. Many loved the app because it offered current news and affairs keeping abreast of who’s who in Tennis and whatever campaign Lorraine was currently invested in. Both the younger generation as well as the senior citizens loved it because it offered daily and weekly feedback, goal setting, and support through the use of their mobile devices and encouraged them to do more moderate to vigorous physical activity. Her fitness app had only been out for a month and was already experiencing heavy traffic from visitors. Most of the ratings were 3 stars and up.

However, she began to notice that a particular user by the name of FU_LO4Life kept leaving negative and hateful comments on her site. At first the user complained that they paid for a tennis guide which they didn’t receive. When she checked inventory the following day no such purchase was made. She made contact with them and told them in their inbox to check their credit history to see that the alleged purchase was never made and they could try again. She never received a response. Whenever she posted pictures and videos of her clients having fun in class or playing in a tournament that same username would criticize both her and her clients viciously and never had anything good to say. Clients complained bitterly and were disgruntled by the user’s choice of words, but this was the internet it only took one rotten fruit to spoil the entire bunch.

Right now she had people who championed her cause and came to her defense on the site but the recurrence of these postings was proving tiresome. Eventually, Lorraine got fed up and appealed to the sites host Amstarjam Electronics & Security to have that particular username blocked which they did after several reports. That didn’t stop the negative comments from rolling in as that same user would just add a number at the end of the same username and continue their antics. The site functioned in a similar manner to that of twitter where whoever was making the negative reviews could just create a new account, or multiple accounts and repeat the process all over again.  Users could post and share videos and pictures from the site  to social networks like Twitter or Facebook, showing their friends how far they have progressed or how well they did in the last match, or highlighting a new goal they reached.

She appealed to the company to ban the IP address of the person, the company responded that due to circumstances beyond their control, they had little or no success locating the villain. As they couldn’t really track who was behind the account. They could only delete the comments and block the username whenever reports are generated from the user being flagged repeatedly. Lorraine felt frustrated by the company and felt they should do more to protect the businesses that fell under their jurisdiction. Their only response was to say that they would investigate the matter further and contact her if necessary. That just wasn’t doing enough, she wanted results now.

Lo felt frustrated that the ability to share testimonies and reflections was being abused. What was supposed to be an honest and supportive medium was being used in a negative way and there was nothing she could do to stop it and that upset Lo a lot. Lorraine literally dreaded what she would see the following day as the attacks were getting more personal and antagonistic with each passing day. She almost wished they would remove the “share” button but Amstarjam basically responded that they would have to get back to her on that request as well. The ability to set goals and share results motivates users to do more, catering to a competitive streak in all of us and we wouldn’t want to deny our customers that option.

“Lo have you seen these comments.”

“Yep. Rosie, now you know what I go through every single day, every time someone leaves a comment it is sent straight to my email and my cell pings constantly it can get crazy at times.”

“Did you know that your app’s popularity would sky rocket like this?”

“Not in a million years, what started off as a way to keep in contact with my clients has certainly taken on a mind of its own. I can barely keep track of the new info my team keeps adding on a daily basis.”

“You need to though, you don’t want anyone taking advantage of you in this day and age.”

“Right now, it’s not my team I’m worried about, I can handle constructive criticism but these comments get more derogatory with every passing day like its personal and I don’t know these strangers.”

“Oh. Tell me more.”

“Someone keeps setting up fake profiles and uses them to leave nasty comments on my page.”

“Sh*t. That’s hard core Lo.”

“Rosie. I can’t see how anyone benefits from cyber-bullying it’s like taking joy in someone’s pain. Only a coward would use such a way to bully.

“Yeah for real, we live in a really sick and twisted world.”

“So what you gonna do about it?”

“I spoke to the Police about it but they didn’t take me seriously. An officer suggested off the record that I hire a private detective and stop wasting their time filling out useless paperwork.”

“Wow. The nerve. Did you get a name?”

“Nope. I hightailed it out of there fast when I realized I had made everyone’s day in the police department and become the local laughing stock. I bet they place my case as a priority somewhere above a lonely granny who constantly calls whenever the floorboards creak.

“I’m shocked they didn’t take you seriously, so what’s the alternative.”

“I tried contacting the company that leases us the app space and they kept giving me the run around then put me on a waiting list. That Phillip Jameson guy is definitely not as approachable as they make him seem in those commercials. The whole time I sat waiting in his office he never showed and his secretary kept giving me sympathetic looks.”
