“Have I told you how perfect you are?” He murmured, eyes slowly drifting closed.

“Not recently,” she hummed, looking down at him. “Hey. We can’t fall asleep here,” she said; reaching out for the shampoo and squeezing a healthy amount into her hand before starting to work it into his scalp.

“Ohhhh that’s good.” He was practically purring.

They finished washing up and dragged their weary bodies back to the bed. The sun had only set a few hours ago, but it had been a long day. Aja was emotionally exhausted from meeting Finn’s parents and physically exhausted from making love. She put her head on his smooth chest and sighed.

“Do you think dinner with your dad is going to go okay?”

“Oh yeah…. He’s great. Very chill,” he murmured, stormy eyes already closed. “Mom is the one to worry about.”

“Do you think he’ll sneak her in?” She asked, looking up at Finn worriedly.

“No.” The answer came quick and sure. “He wouldn’t do that to me.”

Aja relaxed a little and closed her eyes. There was no sense in worrying about it anymore. She trusted Finn’s answers and it was not like she could stop in anyway. Eventually, Linda and Aja were going to meet again and Aja truly hoped they could find common ground.

“It’s all going to be okay, Aja.”

She nodded and allowed herself to drift off, comforted by Finn’s words.
